Gratuities

It’s not expected, but you may opt to compliment your provider.  Etiquette recommends 10 to 20 percent of your bill, however we do not process gratuities on credit cards. You may write a check to your provider directly and an ATM machine is available for your convenience.  Tip envelopes are provided at the front desk if you wish to leave a gratuity in the form of cash or check.

Cancellation

Hair Extension/Permanent Hair Straightening/Hair Smoothing Services/Color Services over 3 hours

Company Policy requires a non-refundable deposit fee for special services. The deposit fee due, will be half of the cost of the service plan. The day the reservation is made; the fee is made and applied at that time. All fees are credited toward the service for the day of the services, and by keeping your reservation time. The company requires a courtesy 48 hour cancellation notice for all Hair Extension & Hair Specialty services; otherwise the company reserves the right to retain the full deposit fee with no credits or credit of the fee moving forward on any other salon services.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your reservation without giving the 48 hour notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that time slot and guests on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they desire.

General Salon Service
Your appointments are very important to us at Studio Gaven. Time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. All our policies are designed to benefit our guests and provide the best quality and excellent service for our established and future clientele.

If you have more than three no-shows or last minute cancellations you will need to pay a non-dable deposit fee of half of your next service when booking your next reservation. This will ensure eservation is secured.

Protecting Your Property

For all guests receiving colour services, we request that you change out of any personal garments and into one of our comfortable robes for the duration of your visit.  By doing so, you ensure that all the colour we use to perform services will stay in its intended place – your hair.  We also request that you be mindful of your handbag and make sure that it is safely out of harm’s way.  We cannot except responsibility for any items damaged during your visits with us if this policy is not observed.

Giving Back to Our Guests

Accumulate points with our Studio Guest Rewards program for your purchases, guest referrals, and pre-booking reservations.  Points can be redeemed at any time for services or retail.  All guest are enrolled on their first visit. In order to redeem your points, we ask for a valid email address.  We will protect your contact information from release without prior consent and only use your email for confirmations and special promotions.
