As a small business who has been truly impacted by COVID we are updating our policies to ensure we provide the best quality and exceptional services for current and future guests.

When to Arrive

We ask that you arrive a few minutes prior to the start time of your service to fill out any required forms and/or change into a chemical service robe. We have a relaxing lobby with beverages for you to enjoy upon arrival. Arriving more than 10 minutes late for your appointment may result in your service provider not having sufficient time to complete your services and our Cancellation/No Show Policy may be applied. (see policy below)

Cancellations / No Show Policy 

(Effective June 1, 2022)

Time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. Due to the increasing individualized nature of the services we offer when a cancellation occurs it creates large blocks of time that impact the salon, our service providers and other guests. We understand that things happen; however, we try to respect our service providers’ time as much as we respect yours.

Beginning June 1, 2022, we will require a credit card on file to secure any hair and skin care services appointments over 1 hour. (Please note that all credit card information stored is encrypted and fully compliant).

All hair and skin care cancellations require a 24-hour notice. Cancelling your appointment less than 24 hours in advance will result in a fee of 50% of your scheduled service. “No Shows” will result in a fee of 100% of scheduled services. 

Cancellations & Deposits for Hair Extensions & Special Services (permanent hair straightening, hair smoothing, color services over 3 hours)

We require a credit card on file and a non-refundable deposit of half the cost of your service plan for all Hair Extensions and Special Services. The deposit will be charged and applied at the time the reservation is made. All deposits will be credited to the total service amount at check-out on the day of your appointment.

All Hair Extensions & Special Services cancellations require a 72-hour notice. Cancelling your Hair Extensions & Special Services appointment less than 72 hours in advance will result in retaining the full deposit with no credits or credit of the fee moving forward on any other salon services.


90 days for exchange only of retail that has not been opened.  30 days for exchange of retail that has been opened. The exchanges will only be able to have a credit for retail only.  The credit cannot be used for services.  No refunds unless an allergic reaction or defect. 


Studio Gaven does not accept gratuities on credit cards.  Guests may utilize the ATM in our building to tip in cash or may write a separate check to pay gratuity to stylists.  We also offer: Venmo or the cash app.
